Every time i disconnect my external it cannot find the libraries even though they are pointed to the right place in native access, sometimes this happens randomly even when it's been connected. Any suggestions?
Sorry but this is a little confusing. If the drive is disconnected then it's normal that the libraries can't be found. Or do you mean that if you disconnect the drive at one point and reconnect it at another time, the libraries still can't be found? We would recommend to check permissions on your Windows system. If you still need help, please give us more details, including screenshots, etc…so we can try to help you out.

A few questions for more clarity
So are your libraries on an external HD? Is the issue when you reconnect the external HD it doesn't find them?
If that is the case (the 2 points above) and I am a Mac user what I do is exit Komplete Kontrol, the DAW etc etc - Shut down the mac
Reconnect the external HD before restarting the Mac - then open KK or my DAW or Kontrol 8 and it will reconnect - or alternatively do a rescan once the external HD is reconnected - the software won't see whats not there if the HD is disconnected and then reconnected whilst the Software or DAW is running
I have almost all my NI libraries on external SSD drives on Windows. My core Native Access is located on my internal SSD. My normal process is to power my external drives up (from the USB hub) prior to turning on the computer. That allows them to always be seen and be activated normally. Just to be safe I turn them off last after I've shut down my PC.
