I'm starting to like this thing more and more. Thought I'd start a thread about it. Most verbs don't seem to have a way to set where the reflection are coming from. Usually just the size tone and length of an evenly balanced room. With this, the echo locations aren't fixed. They are randomly generated. So far it's made some really nice small rooms. What I like most is how easy it is to find something suitable in a few minutes. Nothing worse than getting burnt out trying make a verb. lol So ask if you need any pointers.

Get a new room with each press of any random button. Adjust the room size and shape.

Choose up to 4 pre delay densities per section. Each density produces a stereo pair of reflections. All pre delays can be turned off with one button.

Room delay time can follow the song tempo.

Turn room on or off, choose room density, use the width to spread reflections away from the center. Turn auto impulse (quick audition) on or off.

Pre delay and room volume, room tone, master effect (does not affect straight signal), echo tone depth (quieter echo's have less high frequencies).

Adjust the volume and delay time of each pre delay section. Pan each delay.

This is where you fine tune your random settings and recycle to longer reflections of the two tails. Section volumes, pan differences, volume differences of each reflection, reflection tone, feedback of the two tails. Each section increases in delay time. Tail 2 is up to 2 seconds whereas Early is up to 100 ms. Early changes the tone of the instrument, mid does too but not as much, late is the area where discreet echos can easily be detected.

As can be seen, snapverb creates a wide variety of ambience. Simply press the random button to find something suitable. Fine tune what you have with the adjustments. Simple learning curve as they are all the same except tail 1 and 2. The only difference is those have feedback that repeats their own echos instead of adjust the volume difference of each reflection. Having fun was the main goal here by keeping it simple. Enjoy
