anyone wrong scaling of some plugins too (waves, vital, ...)?

Question

some plugins do not rescale properly in maschine 3 ( waves plugs or vital synth along with some others), either only one fourth of the screen is visible or the ui and the mouse-usable interface is out of sync/misplaced and so these plugs are unusable/uneditable.

i tried different screen settings/resolution (including full hd); all drivers are up to date but nothing changed. with my old amd 6800xt there havent been such problems.

this only happens in maschine, its totally ok in bitwig or cubase.

it also happend with gforce imposcar3, but after an update its good now.

anyone have similar problems or any clue?

Yeah , if I set Windows scaling to %100 then it's becoming really small for me too.

You can still approach either NI Support of Waves Audio Support to see if they can/will improve plugin scalability.

thx for your reply, it was exactly the problem which you discribed…

i wasnt aware that the Windows scaling has to be set to 100%, i just set the scaling in the nvidia system settings to 100%.

now it works even at uwqhd. only drawback is that all on the desktop is displayed much smaller.

my eyes are as old as my other body parts…

At 'including full HD' did you then set windows scaling to e.g. %100 and maybe reboot before testing the config ?   Also please give exact resolution and Windows scaling for exact problem with screenshot rather tan slab  all configurations together in one description.  Also best if giving exact plugin name examples rather than just "waves plugs".   (and if by Waves you mean Waves Audio best to specify)

Typically though then most often such problems are if people are using 4K resolution and Windows scaling X , generally then stuff tends to work for most people at e.g. full HD

Anyway , no matter the above then I can confirm that on my Windows 11 system using resolution 2560X1440 then in Maschine 3.4.2 and testing a Waves Audio plugin (Waves Tune Real-time) then the plugin does not display correct at other Windows scaling than %100 not even at %125 .   Also the plugin allows for dragging lower right corner to adjust plugin Windows size but content in Window stays the same just scales up and down.

@subsoniq75 ,  I don't know if this is a case for NI Support or Waves Audio Support but I advice that you specify plugin names so that people know what to look for / work with.

@Cliona_NI  , could you please look into this and give an evaluation ?

When testing then do not close plugin when large at scaling %100 (shown below here) if you do so then opening plugin at higher scaling will possibly blow plugin up to extreme size !
