Hi, just playing around with just purachased pro 4 software. Its says I just right click on any track and pressed stem separation. This option does not come up when I right click. Anyone got any ideas please

P.S. I can generate Stems directly from the "Track Collection" (and I don't even have any Play lists yet) so my guess is that the problem is along the lines of what PK The DJ suggests in the above (that file must qualify).

What the manual says is : "Right-click (Windows) or [ctrl]-click (Mac) the desired track in the Track Collection and select Generate Stems from the context menu.".
So are you doing the right-clicking (PC) / [ctrl]-click (Mac) on the desired track in the 'Track Collection' ?
The command is only available from within a playlist, not from a directory.
Hi PoorFellow, thanks for taking a mo to search and answer! tired holing ctrl, no difference currently. Still just get the following menu up. Pretty sure its something dumb that I am or am not doing, but appreciate your input!

A playlist from where? If it's online streaming then you can't generate stems from tracks you don't own.
