I've been using Traktor for 15 years! Hi! :)
So, far at least the past five years - unfortunately I can't be more specific - when I was arranging my sets, loading lots of tracks into deck very quickly, every once in a while Traktor would just crash and I would lose all the changes I made in that whole session. For years now I have been quitting Traktor regularly to save my progress and always had a bit of anxiety when working with, not knowing when it will happen again.
Well, finally, yesterday I caught the fucker!
Instead for pressing shift + arrow to load, I miss the shift key and hit caps lock. Under some weird circumstance that I haven't figured out yet, it will immediately crash Traktor. I am unable to reproduce it consistently, but have reproduced it randomly. The closest I can get to pinpointing it is loading a lot of tracks in a short period and jumping around them, then loading up the next one. One more unreliable piece of info, I don't think I've ever crashed it with caps lock + right arrow, only with caps lock + left, but my workflow in preview/arrangement is heavily biased towards deck A, so this might be a false statement.
It has been happening across multiple Traktor versions dating back at least to 3 and both OSX and Windows operating systems.
Please fix this, it has been a thorn in my side for so long and the last thing Traktor need to become: Perfect
