How can I put Effects on Guitar and Microphone at the same time?

Hey people,

i want to record Guitar and Micro at the same time, it works. I put Stereo and make 1L the Guitar and 1R the Microphone. I want to put an effect on both but it only comes thru the guitar, how can I make  the effect on both ?

Use a bus/aux track and route both guitar and mic to it, then add your effects on that bus so they process together. Alternatively, apply the same effect on both individual tracks.

You cannot. Maschine is not designed to record more than 1 Audio Source at the same time, it's designed more as a Sampling device, where it's usually one thing at a time.

You also cannot use Mic In + line in at the same time just generally for some ungodly reason, if you do one of them shuts off.

You can brute force it by connecting 2 different mono sources to Line-In Left + Right and record in stereo but then you end up with all sorts of issues, like monitoring on single speakers, a single Audio recording with different stuff in L/R on a device that has no built-in way to pick/convert L/R to single mono, etc…

I moved your post to Maschine section supposing that your question is regarding Maschine.

But I advice you to maybe describe exactly what you are doing , e.g. hardware unit used and software used if any.  And maybe a screenshot of settings ?  Depending on situation others may have more/other questions.
