Maschine Plus - System Update 2.1.1.0: What's new

Hi everyone,

We've released MASCHINE+ System Update 2.1.1.0, a small maintenance update that brings MASCHINE+ in line with the latest desktop software release [Maschine 3.4.2]

This update includes one performance improvement and three bug fixes:

Improved: Reduced CPU load when performing with MASCHINE while a KONTROL S-Series MK3 keyboard is connected
Fixed: Modulation at Pattern boundaries could break when using Double on a Pattern
Fixed: Recording audio loops could ignore the current Scene tempo
Fixed: Bass Synth Legato mode was not working as expected on Oscillator 2

Important note:
The Bass Synth fix may affect audio compatibility with existing projects using the previous version of the bass synth.

@Chris_NI , Please fix the flac /mp3 format reading. It doesn't work when I upload to the Sd card. Files. I've already written about this 3 times.

You need to make a function to flip / correct the phase of the drum samples. This will help a lot. Currently, I have to shift the samples so that they are in phase.

@Braz this is sarcasm right? Its not even an update (i woul like having spit note function, just like the machine software would be logical after half a year. These are just bug fixes (what is nice)

If you’re experiencing issues with the update process, try deleting all update files from both the Downloads folder and the root directory, then run the update again.

From what I can see, the solution still requires inserting the SD card into a computer and manually removing all update files. I’m able to do this, but it raises the question — why doesn’t the update process automatically clean up old update files?

Making Editing Easier - Community

Resume:

In Events view, allow Shift + 4‑way encoder up/down to move selected events to previous/next Sound slot (within the same Group), instead of only changing selection.

Also, having more than the excisting Key Notes, for applying-for example an 150 chops sample-to use all the chops will be great. I mean more Octaves to spread the chops by applying the choped sample. Also it could be a Ultra workflow facelift for chops to be applied in more than 16 pads in the same group. We could move them and arange them more fast than applying diferent sections of the same sampleto different groups from and then douplicating them to put them to a same group. The next is a little controversary. Pressing the Idea Button-when we are at the Song mode-make more sense to go back to Ideas because i press the Ideas. If i press Shift+Ideas should go to Song Mode. Something there is missleading.

Thank you for this its really encouraging especially with what's going on right now. Keep on up the good work one and all we really appreciate you I know we sometimes don't always come across that way but we love ya really. Machine+ is in a totally different place from when I first got it in 2022.

it's "small" things like these, who can improve the workflow.

People coming from software (even Maschine) are used of these drag and drop editing functions and having spreaded the samples to a "infinity keayboard" so they can actualy search for the best chop matches would be great. For a device like Kontrol+ with keys and pads would be the prefect tool. Making the life easier for them would propably make them keep the device for longer and potential showoff their skills to the world.

I have communicated a XY Touch Pad-like the Strip on Maschine mk3+ and above-for future devices. Having kind of mouse-pad as well for piano roll editing functions on device could make it more intiutive. This can work also as a touchscreen alternative and make the Play Series Expantions functioning great. Also a 16 MPE expressive pads could be the solution to competition. Considering all these would be more than enough for a musical instrument like Maschine should be.

Since the update 2.1.1.0 i have many bugs that force me to restart the whole machine+. Because otherwise there is now sound, not even when listening to sound samples . And having way more CPU! Problems than before, even presets project of NI itself give problems by just pushing play. Like Dutch Bomb. can i get back to my previous version? Or are there new updates coming soon? Its not workable right now .
