In Events view, allow Shift + 4‑way encoder up/down to move selected events to previous/next Sound slot (within the same Group), instead of only changing selection.
Hello Community,
Greetings from Greece! I hope you doing great! I' m a Graphic Designer from Greece and I Love to Make Beats. I' m Producing since 2005 mostly on Desktop Apps. Recently a video of Gnarly using Maschine+ showed up on YouTube and with not much of research i found my self Learning Maschine from YouTube videos. I' m sure that you are familiar with Editing Notes in Maschine+. In Event Tab or in Pattern Tab by selecting one or more Notes and by moving the Push Encoder up and down or left and right you can change the Note Placement. If you are using Events of Sounds the only thing you can do with a Selected Event is change its Place in Timeline by moving Right or Left the Encoder.
You cannot move an Event Note of a Specific Sound to another Event Note of Another Sound of the same Group. If you want to make a Correction of a Wrong Placed Event you have to Copy the Wrong Event then go to an other line representing another Sound, Paste it there and then Deleting the wrong one. You can delete the wrong one and Record the correct one if you want as well. I' m sure you can figure other ways as well that I would be glad to try. Have you ever tried to Hold Swift and Push Up or Down the Push Encoder to move it like it was a Notes? I tried it and there no such a function although there is the possibility. I don't know if we have the power to make it happen but Moving Chops this way is way more faster and I' m sure programming something like that would worth the effort due to its workflow perspective. Thanks in advance for reading this and i would be glad to see this in a Future Update.
Best Regards,
