So I got a surprise charge on my debit card bill a few days ago for my expired 365 Pro subscription for $56.38. I had cancelled my recurring 365 Pro subscription on 2-28 and for some reason on the 18th a new charge appeared. Checked the NI website and yes the cancellation did take hold and I did notice that on the day the subscription expired I was no longer able to use any software associated with 360 except in demo mode. When I shared screen shots of the expired subscription and the charge which you will see below, NI (Jonas) said they will not issue a refund on any charges that have already gone through….what other charges might they be speaking about? The date is odd bc it is not even 30 days…only 19 days out from the last charge.
He also stated that I should just use the subscription until it runs out. How thoughtful and how would I do that when it shows the subscription cancelled on the website. Back in Feb not knowing the cancellation date I tried using one of the apps and it would only open in demo mode. So again how would I just suck it up and use the subscription. For some $57 is not a small chunk of change, but regardless it's the principal and the trustworthiness of a company currently working through insolvency that really makes me double think if I ever would do biz with NI again. Been a customer with for over 30 years. As of now just a flat denial and no further contact. Anyone else have problems with NI similar to this? I've always had the same account with NI so no double account issues here.
