Traktor S2 MK2: Deck jumps to -100 when pressing CUE (Already recalibrated)
Hi everyone,
I’m looking for some technical advice regarding my Traktor Kontrol S2 MK2.
Lately, whenever I press the CUE or HOTCUE buttons with a bit of force, the track glitches or freezes for a split second. During this "glitch," the deck speed instantly drops to -100.
Here is what I've found so far:
- The issue stops if I disable Jog Mode.
- I have already tried to recalibrate the Jog Wheels in the Traktor settings, but the problem persists.
It seems like the physical vibration or pressure of pressing the buttons is misfiring the jog wheel's capacitive touch sensor. Since I rely on Jog Mode for scratching and track navigation, disabling it isn't an option.
Is this a known hardware/grounding issue? Has anyone found a fix that doesn't involve hardware replacement?
