Today, while installing an instrument for Kontakt Player 7 I allowed Native Access to update Kontakt and itself. Upon completing these updates, I found the following issue when attempting to initiate Kontakt within REAPER:
Upon investigating other instances of this issue online, I've attempted the following solutions:
- Reinstalling Kontakt Player, Native Access and REAPER (no effect)
- Reinstalling REAPER as a portable install (no effect)
- Clearing VST scan path cache and re-scanning (no effect)
- Running Kontakt 7 in dedicated mode (plugin loads but causes REAPER to CTD shortly after loading any instrument installed through Native Access)
It's worth noting that Kontakt Player 8 also suffers from this issue, but Guitar Rig 6 does not. Other plugins are functioning normally. Kontakt Player 7 still works in standalone.
