Audio In Not Working Anymore

Question

Maschine + in Software Mode (latest update) To be clear, the audio coming in, in STANDALONE, does work. Its when I switch to CONTROLLER MODE, it doesnt work. It did at one time.

No audio input

Everything is set correctly - Ive sampled my hardware in the past. The audio cables are fine, sound is coming out of hardware. All connections correct. All channels set up correctly.

Do I need to update the Maschine + hardware?

Do I need to reset the hardware?

Any other possible reasons this happening now?

ANSWER: Go into Mac SYSTEM SETTINGS - PRIVACY, then go to your MICROPHONE permissions and turn on Maschine 3. I did this just as as a guess because im not using the microphone. But I for some reason, the usb audio In must need that to receive audio through the Inputs (I tried with both the microphone and no microphone hardware setting before trying this and that had no effect).
