Native Access is no longer downloading files. Every download = "Download Failed" I've restarted - reinstalled etc. it just fails and goes to 'queued' - and never resolves.
Hey everyone, there seems to be an issue with the Massive X Factory Library installation and also for Massive X expansions on some Windows systems. We're looking into that issue. Sorry for the inconvenience.
Please get in touch with our support and include the support file from Native Access:
In the meantime, the workaround is to clear the failed download and use the reinstall function in Native Access instead of the update. Screenshot stolen from @poorfellow
Sounds to me more like a networking issue rather than a NA issue. You might try inspecting what's going on in Task Manager with networking and CPU activity while you're downloading. That may give you some hints about where the problem is.
I had - sort of - the same issue. And I doubt it's a networking issue.
Two updates were available: Massive X and its Factory Library. Massive X downloaded fine, but the Factory Library gave an "Download Failed" error. So, I uninstalled the Factory Library, hit "Install" and… it downloaded fine.
🤷🏻♂️
I can conform the Massive X Factory Library Update download failed issue.
I tried several times to install the update to the Massive X Factory Library including after a computer reboot , but it kept reporting 'Download Failed' . I think that that is a first for me in years (?) , I have had plenty of failed installations but this is the first download failed for me , at least for a very long time.
After reading the post of Monochrome then I thought 'what the the heck' I might as well just try a reinstall rather than the reported uninstall + reinstall and a reinstall worked just fine for me….
I don't understand though why release date is 2026-02-05 when it installed today , but perhaps people that have installed the Massive X Factory Library have installed the new version since then and that it is only the update that is delayed (?) .
.
Every download = "Download Failed" , I've restarted - reinstalled etc.
Could you give examples of what "Every download = Download Failed" ? e.g. a screenshot including error ?
And what is your version of Native Access ?
I too can confirm a "Download Failed":
But only for the Factory Library Update.
My Massive X 1.7 update was successful (and normal).
Since this is the very first time (Ever) that I believe I have seen a Download Failed - it appears there is something wrong with this specific download and not NA as a whole.

Those downloaded ok here, no download errors.
Same here: Massive X Factory Library Update failed. Old Lib seams to work as long as you dont need NKS-Mapping.

Strange. I tried three times - clearing the queue each time.
Instant fail - like the download does not even want to start….
This was a day or so ago, maybe something isn't working now that worked then? And I'm on a Mac, although if it's a distribution network problem that shouldn't make a difference. Maybe it's PC related?
I do remember a couple of oddball cases in the last few months where this same thing happened for specific downloads. Something was corrected on the backend and suddenly all was well.
Hopefully NI can at least check this specific payload and see what is up. Definitely not a network issue over here.
@mykejb both Massive X downloads also worked for me yesterday (26th), and I'm on a PC.
Same here worked for me yesterday on PC, sometimes cleaning the download folder can help
So, Massive X' parameters are exposed for host automation now?
I wonder why there isn't more fuzz about this. This is BIG. 🙂
I can confirm "Download Failed" for all Maschine pack updates. Success for things like Komplete and Massive/MassiveX.
The Maschine sounds were failing on two Windows computers.
So instead of "update", I tried selecting the product (on the updates page), then selecting "Reinstall". That worked for all Maschine pack updates on one PC, so I'll try it later today for the other Windows PC.
My issue was on Windows…but I'll bear it in mind if I have the same issue when I update the Mac (sometime this weekend).
Be interesting to see if the Mac installs go ok. I've not had a problem on any recent downloads on Macs, I'll try some updates on a PC later if there are any available. I'm in the UK, not sure if it might be geographical.
