Group vs. Pattern

Question

Hello, another two related questions about M+:

(1) I read somewhere that M+ is limited to 8 Groups - is that correct? Is there only 1 bank of Groups?

(2) If I have a drum kit loaded in e.g. Group A, do Patterns concern all sounds within that Group, or each sound separately? For instance can I have 1-bar Pattern for kick, 2-bar Pattern for snare and 4-bar Pattern for hi-hats; and then layer them on top of each other to play simultaneously?

I often layer loops of different - often uneven, e.g. 12/16th and e.g. 18/16th - length creating these "random" but repeatable patterns.

You can do all of that.

I think that if you have experience with any Daw then you will understand M+ easy because it's easy,simple and that's what makes fast workflow.

Unlimited groups

patterns are group-related so you can use more groups or other way around and with the little experience you will be able to use different lengths of different sound and patterns under one group but as i mentioned you can just simply use another group or start everything in arrangement.
