Possible to +/- octave on Maschine using external midi controller

I'm really enjoying playing the maschine pads as my primary midi controller, but, am often limited by needing to change octaves, while in keyboard mode, using my hands.

I would love to be able to change octave with a foot switch. So, I'm wondering if it's possible? Is maschine's "Octave Change" a standard midi control signal? If, yes, what should I send from my controller to Maschine to trigger Octave Change?

There's MIDI mapping, it's just surper duper limited, you can't even MIDI map basic Play/Stop transport let alone complicated internal Maschine operations.

You can press the down arrow and see whats directly MIDI Mapable, it's mostly things related to controlling Instrument/FX parameters.

For a couple of extra things you can also create a Macro, then MIDI map it, but not much just Input, Output and Groove stuff…

No, octave change is not MIDI Mappable.

Foot switch actions also can't be changed unless you're using MIDI Mode.

If NI's own controllers cant be mapped for this stuff I doubt partner ones will.
