Anyone tried this beast?

With 31 oscillator engines, waveshapers, effects, 18 filter types and a complete mod matrix. it looks really serious and powerful.

If so, how it sounds, compared with the Usual Suspects emulation?

Note: Companies still invest in Reaktor. This means a lot for its future, don't you think? Who is that stupid to create commercial products on a supposed "dead" app?

I havent't tried it but word goes it's verry good , the developer also has some great ( roland emulations ) stuff in the user library ) ,chro juno , chro alpha and chro jupiter really rival the Roand Cloud stuff .

It's not just a fancy paintjob and primary modules , it's core dsp throughout

Just search for Jasper Chrono Broecks .
As for the usual suspects ,well everything they do is a 1:1 replica of the original ( minus the dac stage ) , so for pure emulation nothing beats the usual suspects

The usual suspects discord server is the place to hang out , full of braniacs and dsp wizards

Jasper has been working on the emulation for 4-5 years .
Impactsoundworks just acts as a distributor , and this was only a couple of months ago ( before the insolvency news )
I am sure every reaktor based developer is now rethinking their strategy becasue of the fisaco that is N.I.
