When I record my sample and I adjust the length of the sample, there is a problem. When Istart to play the sample it goes to the 1/3 and then it starts just from the begging and runs to the end… I can't help myself, have someone the same Problem ?
Not much detail to go on, if you're using a Sampler, then maybe you have Loop mode activated and are adjusting loop points (pink) instead of start/end points (green) ? If thats the case, disable looping in the toolbar below the waveform
Hello
yeah more details would be good, do you use the sampler or audio module for example. Can you replicate it with a maschine library sample and load the project up, that would be maybe the best way to check what's going on.
here is the project im using the sampler and I got always the same problem, maybe you can look and see what is the problem :) thank you
@D-One thank you relly much, I use the sampler-Loop function and I don't have the menu like you have on your screenshot
@Uwe and its after you play it the second time sometimes it runs normal, thanks a lot
You are using the audio module, so it is like a audio track in another DAW, you don't really play samples in that module like a sample triggered with a note. The sample starts with the pattern and if the pattern is longer the sample starts over again until the pattern comes to an end and starts over. That might be the issue. I will have a look on my maschine software and compare it to be sure. What @D-One showed you is the editor of the sampler module and I also have guessed you use this based on the short description of your problem. Again that's why it is important to give as much information as possible. And you can use the sampler module to record and edit then switch to the audio module but then of course as I said you don't trigger the sample with a note anymore in the audio module. Maybe you also tell us what you exactly want to to and what you expect to happen, then we can tell you how to achieve it.
Here you can see a too short sample and it will jump even while preview in edit mode, you see the difference with the lighter colour. Then is the question if the sample is synced but just too short or is the sample in the wrong tempo you have to know that to be able to fix it, e.g. set the audio module from loop to gate and use a note to open the gate, or stretch the sample, cut the sample.
@Uwe303 I just saw that you're also from Germany. First of all, thank you so much for your effort; without help, you're sometimes really lost. And it's even harder to understand things well in English. So, how exactly do I switch to Gate mode? I don't see that option in the sampler menu. Anyway, I now know that it's because the sample is too short. In Pattern or Events mode, it shows exactly the repetition that I couldn't figure out. I'm a bit overwhelmed with all the information. Thank you so much! Greetings from Hamburg

Don’t worry, I was wrong
on that image you posted , under group A , next to master/group/sound , there are 2 icons , the top one , is the channel icon , under that is the plugin icon , select the plugin icon, as you have the channel icon selected
Then you should see some options for the plugin , mode - set to loop by default, you want to switch that to gate , then you need to pencil in a midi note to trigger the gate , the length of the note denotes the length of the gate , (how much of the sample is played ) similar to the adsr or ahd mode of the sampler
You should also see some setting where you can stretch the sample
I’ll add that the above is for the audio module , if you find that you’re not getting the results you want , try switching to the sampler , you can do that by , right clicking on the plug in slot (Plugin slot is close to the plugin / channel icon , plugin icon needs to be selected ) where it says audio then select internal / sampler , then your sample will be loaded in the regular sampler
@Aldread thank you really much, I see now how the gate mode works with the trigger, I will try it how it works.. even if I don't know exactly why its better or in wich situation its better.. the learning never will stop…. thanks for the answer !!!
