Preload sound

Good to all, I just went from MPC to Maschine Plus and I love the machine, the work flow is great but I can not find a solution yet, in the MPC I can record some notes with a sound and while they are played I can go through the different sounds and hear everything as it sounds, in the Maschine I have to go loading sound by sound pressing load to hear how it looks...... there is no way to make the sounds charge automatically when passing through the presets to the Just like MPC does? Thank

I am assuming that you want to preview a sound from the browser while you scroll from one to another.

In that case you have to Hold Swift and go to the upper right corner of the right screen and click PREHEAR. After that you should be able to pre-hear Groups, Sounds, Instruments, Loops and One-Shots.

I don't think that's what the OP was asking - I read it as previewing the sound in the context of the loop that's playing. So if you have a loop that has, for example, a kick and snare you can have the loop playing and hear the snare hits change as you browse sounds.

I don't think Maschine+ can do that, but there are lots of people here who would know for sure without guessing.

not sure about where it is on the hardware , it’s probably where the prehear option is , in the software at the bottom of the browser , there’s some icons , the circle type one , is autoload , speaker icon is prehear

You probably want prehear off , if you already have midi data in the pattern

In that specific case the faster way sounds to be previewed on already recorded events is what he decribed by loading.

TIP 1: Pressing Shift+Undo (PAD1) to return to the previous sound is the quickest way to keep experimenting with new options without losing the original.

TIP 2: It’s a good idea to save your project in different versions when making these kinds of choices.

@Karpy , if @mykejb is right about your request, then, what you describe sounds like a very nice add-on on the excisting software. It might take more processing power, but offering the option is always a great way to keep users engaged with a product.

it’s possible, I was doing it last night , but in the sw , I used to do it from the studio , so it’s been a feature for years

I thought that was the case - Maschine can't do it unfortunately but it would be a good addition for sure

That's right, I understand that in the Maschine Plus I consumed CPU, but it would be good to have the option.

how is it activated? already test by turning off pre-listening but does not charge me the sounds without pressing enter, would you be so kind to explain how to do it?thanks

you don’t need to activate it , just use the two buttons - prev /next , that will load the preset without pressing enter

In the sw I use the keyboard up/down key
