Maschine 2026

Hello Maschine team and fellow users,

I hope you’re all doing well. It’s 2026 now, and looking back, the previous year was a good one for Maschine — maybe not the best ever, but definitely solid.

We’re curious about your plans for Maschine 3 and Maschine+ users. Other brands are clearly not sleeping, and we’re hoping that 2026 will bring some fresh love and exciting developments — because we truly love Maschine here.

Thank you for all the hard work you put into the platform.

We know that some posts and comments can sometimes get a bit emotional or overly passionate, but overall, we’re genuinely happy to be part of the big Maschine family.

To be fair, the original message was sent on a Friday, and it's now Monday. We don't tend to check the forums over the weekend.

I appreciate the OP sentiment and the note. I can't go into full detail just yet (and besides, I'm not an immediate member of the team covering Maschine, so don't wish to speak for them). But what I can say is that most of the Q1 efforts are in support of partner hardware integrations across our software (inclusive of Maschine), some of which is in support of various Superbooth announcements.

is there going to be a possible future version of compact controllers with better hardware integration (able to do NKS 2 stuff for instance)?

is Ni going to tackle having mutiple connected controllers (ni, but also ni + partner hardware) that one could simultaneously? Like an s61 mk3 on a stand and a smaller desktop NKS controller on the desk without conflicts or constant switching etc

Superbooth is in May, so we will wait till then so we can have a Novation keyboard or whatever other partners HW have more dedicated control of Maschine/KK/Kontakt…? Ouch, I hope I misunderstood that.

Yep. Now to hope for AlphaTheta or Roland to buy NI and revive their product lines in some meaningful way. AlphaTheta can do wonderful hardware. Roland can do both.

Well there’s a shocker. These things have become a lot more complicated in recent years but appears that the debt/company have been purchased by yet another Capital Firm that includes Bain Capital US. Sheesh. So Mitt Romney owns a piece of NI now? Guess ya gotta do what ya gotta do.

Good luck to the real people and employees @NI moving forward.

What are you on about??? It changed provider once. The layout is pretty much a template, lol… we dont even have web devs participating anything to do with the forum… A forum is a fixed expanse, changing provider is not a big cost at all.

The Sounds.com domain alone probably cost what this forum costs in 50 years, let alone the development that went into it.
