Hi everyone. I have Traktor Z2. I'm trying to use my Traktor F1 with remix deck C and a regular vinyl record playing on deck A in live input. The configuration is as follows: * AUTO and MASTER active * Remix deck C with SYNC active I mapped a button to TAP so that Traktor can detect the vinyl's BPM. However, even using this configuration, the remix deck doesn't beatmatch with the vinyl and is out of time, while everything works fine with an MP3. Can anyone tell me how to fix this?

Beatmatching between live input (vinyl) and remix deck

Get a audio2bpm tool like a KP3 (which also sends clock…) and tap there if the recognition drifts.

Then just sync the remix deck start to the first kick at the next phrase…

Did you tap the right tempo? I think it's really really hard.

Not only does the tempo have to be right, you also have to start the remix deck precisely on the beat and probably nudge it. And with a vinyl it can be that you also have to do repeat that at times.

The remix deck starts in time, but then goes out of sync. When I tap, I notice that the remix deck's tempo matches the detected master tempo correctly.

It's probably slightly off and then drifts away.
