Maschine 3.4.1 quit on startup

I am not able to start Maschine 3.4.1 on macOS Tahoe 26.2 (Mac Studio M4 Max 128GB RAM, 2TB SSD). The splash screen quickly shows "Waiting for product soon…" and the macOS says "Maschine 3 quit unexpectedly". I tried opening it as a plugin in Cubase Pro 15 but then Maschine 3 crashes Cubase completely.

It happens regardless if Maschine Mk3 is on or off.

Any help would be appreciated.

i'm running Tahoe 26.2 with Maschine 3.4.1 without a problem. Did you try to disable all third party plugins and see if that solves things?

I followed ALL procedures in the Maschine crashes or freezes trouble-shooter - up until uinstalling Maschine 3 and reinstalling. Sadly, it still crashes at startup.

I tried starting Maschine 3 with SHIFT pressed to bypass third-party plugins but it also didn't help.

What else can I do?

TLDR; the diagnostic report said Arturia analog V a lot and i have to open arturias plug in installer and correct the folder where it was putting things. Then my maschine started working again.

I just went through this and lost my crap. Ive been in the process of Learning mac (just came from PC) and installing all my plug ins and instruments. all day ive been making bounce files for maschine when suddenly poof. it just started crashing after already doing hours of work. No new instalation No new anything just crashes anytime you load it. I thought oh it was something in the project i was trying to open, whatever i'll open a new project from my project folder directly..boom crashes won't even open to the main interface.

So i rush to the forum to see if someone else is having an issue and stumble across this post. I tried the crash report thing and didn't get any where. I saw you use cubase and i was like oh crap is Studio one going to be a problem …and it wasn't studio one worked fine, Maschine worked fine in it. so i closed studio one and went back to maschine and still would not open.

mac has a diagnostic report you can send when crashes happen, (it also shows you what it says)and for a dude who isn't into coding or the nitty gritty of what is in those, i saw the words "arturia analog V" a lot with the 1 processor…and was like hmm maybe that's a problem.

so i tried to open analog V (and all my other standalone products) and boom crashes immediately. so i open the plug in installer for arturia and an Error comes up saying that i moved where the resource file was. I pointed it back to where it is on the computer and issue corrected. Hopefully your problem is this simple to fix, Good luck and i hope this helps

Pressing ESC is the way to skip plugin scanning.

@Intini Were you able to open Maschine 3 before that? Do you remember any change made around the same time? Moving files or folderrs, updates, etc…

Please try to open Maschine 3 and press the ESC key, this should stop the scanning.

If you're able to open Maschine 3 at this point, make sure that this box is unticked:

When going through these steps: Maschine crashes or freezes

Can you confirm that Maschine 3 and your other NI apps all have full disk access?

Can you confirm you deleted these files or folders in the user library and not the local one?

Macintosh HD > Users > Your User Name > Library > Application Support > Native Instruments > Maschine 3

Macintosh HD > Users > Your User Name > Library > Preferences > com.native-instruments.Maschine 3.plist

Thank you so much for taking the time to try to help! I have revised my third-party plugins from Arturia. They seem to load fine as standalone - including Analog Lab V. Sadly I am still unable to start Maschine 3.

Thank you.

I double checked everything, followed everything again. I made sure to access the hidden user Library folder to access the proper folders' location. Sadly it is still not starting.

I managed to capture a screenshot of what blinks on the Maschine 3.4.1 Splash screen just before it crashes. It says "Waiting for product scan…" then it crashes.

I will contact support as you suggested.
