How to: 1/2 beat Echo Out on S4 MK3

I'm coming from Serato DJ and one of my main effects I use is the 1/2 beat & 1/1 beat echo + fader down to do an echo out. Can someone help me setup the delay settings to make this possible in Traktor 4 with an S4 mk3?

No matter what I do I cannot create the same smooth 1/2 beat or 1/1 beat echo out I can on my Serato hardware (DJM S9 & S11). And "Dual Delay" does not create the same sounding echo out.

I think it is a little bit wrong to do in the Traktor the same thing as in Serato.

They are different

But you can play with freeze on delays and reverbs. It is FRZ button on the deck fx pannel in single mode

Make sure the FX unit is set to 'post-fader'.

Use one of the FX units, set to SINGLE and POST FADER. Use Delay or Delay T3. It's got resonance and filter parameter controls, as well as delay range in beats. Delay also has ping-pong option, Delay T3 can also enable percentage range instead of beats. Both have a Freeze function which closes input from the deck source and only outputs the repeated delay audio buffer.
