BPM and Play/Pause button problems

My version of tractor pro 3 has developed a problem where the beats per minute counter fluctuates, when a song is playing.

Also, when the play/pause button is pressed during playback, the current track starts reversing instead of pausing.

AnybodyAnybody find a solution for this problem?

Delete or deactivate all but your keyboard mapping from controller manager (to exclude anything midi related having any input).

If it still has problems, check your keyboard mapping (just set 'in-port' to 'none'). If that actually solves it, the key designated for pitch bend (back) may have become stuck.

You see the blinking white symbol at the top. It only blinks if an external signal is sent. In this case my guess is that there is dirt inside the hardware tempo fader triggering the bpm jumps.

I don't get why pressing play would make the track go reverse to be honest.

What happens on a different deck (and a different set of hardware controls) ?

Edit: Maybe there is dirt in the jogwheel, causing a constant and slow pitch bend (backwards), which would explain why the track would rewind (scratch instead of pitch bend) when stopped.

The Midi input light is very interesting. The computer was not attached to any controller. When I shot the video.

The problem is also present in both players, right and left.

I haveI have seen other videos displaying the same problem. But nobody seems to have found a solution.

WOW a very big THANK YOU, that worked.

I was trying to solve a headphone issue with a Dennon DN-MC6000mk2. I installed the Dennon/Traktor mapping on my backup computer. And then the issue started.

When I removed the Dennon/Traktor mapping from the control manager, it solved the problem. Just as you suggested, it might.

The real question though is, what's wrong with the DN mapping?

The Denon mapping is working on my main computer, with the exception of the headphone issue

What's the issue?

Denon DN MC6000mk2 with Traktor mapping from the Denon website

With the Split Cue “OFF” and the knob panned fully over to CUE, the master Volume is still present.

In settings I have the Master Output as Channels 1 & 2 and the Cue as Channels 3 & 4 (These are the only options in the Denon control settings).

Notes

The CUE track can be heard, but is overpowered by the master output track

I have two MC6000mk2’s and the issue is the same on both.

I loaded the Traktor mapping to a second back-up computer – same result.

I have tried using a combination of other sound card settings.

Nothing i can do to help, i am afraid. Hopefully someone around here uses the same device and knows how to solve this.

Because it is the same with both MC6000 controllers I have, I am guessing it is something in the mapping.
