I just want to drag and drop my own (non-musical, more noise / real environment samples like a "driller"!) samples into a sampler without spending too much time adjusting modulation connections, sources and amounts. For example I downloaded the free Korn, this instantly changes the sound of my samples. But on my system it reacts very laggy, stopping sound if I change a parameter and feels bit limited. (The bigger brother to pay aims more on musical samples).
Reaktor 6 community I tried as well, but I am not a user for the Reaktor workflow. I struggle to find bypass of reverb and delay in most user generated content; or I can't find an INIT where the whole keyboard isn't blocked by hundreds of samples already. I just need to throw in my own sample and see if the result intends what I want and need.
I tried Tomb Raver and Dron-e, but as well they offer so much I really do not have the time to first dive deeper to then understand, that the sound compatibilities aren't what I am searching for.
I loaded my samples into Kontakt 8 but hehe, this is a workhorse.
Feeling a bit stupid and dump as there are thousands of samplers around. I can filter those down to freeware (but willing to pay for a bigger brother if I like). I need high quality to convince other people.
