How to activate Reaktor 5

I have an installation of Reaktor 5 on my mac that has lost its activation, it was activated before but that is lost and it now only runs in demo mode. I suspect i did some little too aggressive preferences cleanup once.

But, i need to work with a few old projects, so how do I get it activated again? Reaktor 5 isn't a legacy product in Native Access anymore so i can't get it activated there. In app it asks for activation in Service Center that does NOT work anymore.

Well - not sure what to tell you. R5 shows up in my view of the world. But I am on Windows.

For me - it would be as simply as clicking Install and off I go.

You should probably ask support what's possible for your scenario.

Ohh and btw you will need native access 2 of course and activate the legacy option on top of the browser it should work with your os version, at least as far as I can see. And if I activate the legacy option I can still see reaktor 5 on my windows system. Or is it that what you described and already tried?

I did all that, no luck. I find it weird that Reaktor 5 is missing in my Native Access. Maybe i should contact support.

My first stop would be your actual NI Products listing at the NI site.

Finally - what exactly did you own back in the day that gave you R5? A version of Komplete? An actual standalone license for R5?

Maybe throw up some screenshots of your product listing so we can see what's up there.

Looks good to me - last appearance of R5 was in Komplete 10. So it should be there.

You may need to take this to NI Support for investigation.

Did you upgrade OS in between ? Perhaps Reaktor 5 is not compatible with macOS 15.7.3 ? Also then if you are using Apple silicon (M2 ?) then that sounds as if having to use Rosetta in connection with old software (?)

Could very well be this exact thing.

Pretty sure Reaktor 5 never made it to Apple Silicon.

mmm. I just checked, and I'm in the same situation : I use a M1 pro MBP running Sonoma 14.8.2, the first Komplete version I bought was K8, and I can't find any mention of Reaktor 5 in my Native Access app.

I don't know since how many time I didn't use R5, and it's not installed now on my system, but if I need to re-open a very old session (running Live under Rosetta), what can I do ?

Reaktor 5.9.4 was last supported under El Capitan. Long long long ago.

AND it was a 32bit app. 32bit support was eliminated back in the Sierra/Catalina era.

No chance this runs in any modern MacOS.

Here you can check compatibility, reaktor 5 was running until sierra, or at least officially supported until that os version
