I do not have maschine.
I had presumed that by using Komplete Kontrol, each demo kit would load up like a construction kit with the constituent parts that make up the kit.
So it would load up an instance of battery with the corresponding drum kit, an instance of massive with the bass/synth preset…maybe an instance of monark for the synth, if used. etc etc.
so you could see which patches and kits were used for that demo loop, you'd be able to see the midi file for the arrangement, the midi file for the battery drum kit for the demo.
it appears that all i have is a bunch of audio loops of the full demos and the stems for each demo kit, plus the battery drum kits (at least they are named, with the names corresponding with the demo loops) and a bunch of presets for all the synths (which appear not to have names that correspond with the demo loops).
I'm not even bothered about having maschine and getting 'under the hood' but it would have been nice to load up each demo kit as a multi instrument patch and have the arrangement visible and just trigger everything from midi
Help please? Am i missing anything? Did i not understand what an expansion pack is?
