Traktor Z1 MK2 doesn't output sound

Hello everyone, I recently purchased a Traktor Z1 MK2 and I’m facing problems connecting it to my PC.

My gear receives but doesn’t output sound; I mean, when I move the physical controls they move in the software, and on the controller there’s signal showing that the track is playing, but there’s no sound from the speakers or through the headphone cue.

I imagine the problem comes from my PC’s Realtek sound card… Do you think it could be fixed with another external sound card?

I’ve installed and re-installed controllers, drivers, etc., but it still doesn’t work.

Has anyone experienced similar issues?

Make sure the Z1 mk2 ASIO driver is installed
In Traktor settings, under "Audio Setup" make sure that "Z1 mk2 ASIO driver (ASIO)" is selected NOT "z1 mk2 asio driver (WASPI SHARED)" or WASAPI EXCLUSIVE!
Connect your headphones and speakers to the Z1 mk2.

Mhh, ok that is odd. I know there is currently some kind of bug with z1 mk2 and the driver, but for most people these steps worked.

Last thing I would try is to select the ASIO driver, just as you have done, then restart Traktor without changing anything. If that does not work I'm all out of ideas. You might have to contact support.
