Can ' Una Corda' (prepared piano) do detuned /weird tunings? All the different presets seem to have standard tunings I'd love to find a sound like the piano on Clark's new track 'Globecore flats' https://youtu.be/6kAfD9bdLX8?si=U8GO7V0wnopFG888
I am not entirely sure how all of this works , but as far as I know then you can 'detune' just about anything if you are using something like 'Microtoner' , which is sold here (please notice demo videos down the product shop presentation page). Also you can read the Microtoner manual here.
But as an "Instrument Plugin" then the way that this particular app / plugin works are that by after you have setup the Microtoner standalone app then you load the Microtoner plugin version in the DAW and then inside the MicroToner plugin then you open the Kontakt plugin and select the Una Corda there..
You can also use the Microtoner as "MIDI Effect Plugin" , please check the Microtoner manual .
Sorry I am a total novice with respect to detuning so this is the best I can advice you on this. It is entirely possible that others knows of other possibly better products that I do not know of or products that works in other ways but this is what I am aware of…
Incidentally then the site runs a sale so that you will get %40 extra off using code CYBER40 at checkout , that should set price for Microtoner to around $30…
.
Quote Microtoner product manual : MicroToner comes packaged with following:
Standalone App: A plugin host where you can load and play your virtual instruments through MicroToner
Instrument Plugin: A plugin that can be used in your DAW to allow plugins and virtual instruments to play Microtonal scales
MIDI Effect Plugin: A MIDI plugin that can be used as an insert effect to allow your instruments to play Microtonal Scales (For Logic Pro, Ableton Live and Reaper)
Thanks so much! Thats great!
