As a traktor user for many years (more than 10), even own two licenses, I find it quite disrespectful to pay $74.5 to upgrade to traktor pro 4, and must protest.
I am truly pissed about it.

It was the same with Traktor Pro 2 to 3.
Tp3 will continue working. It was never advertised as a perpetual license. You literally get what you bought.
I would be more pissed about that they did not fix all the grave bugs in TP3. That is annoying.
And how should the development team should get paid then if they can't ask money for "big updates" from existing customers ?
I have been known to buy a new piece of hardware to get the update … it was the X1mk3 this time to go from TP3 to TP4 …
Helps me try and justify the long list of gear that I have 😆
