Cannot Save A Track To A Preparation List

I just updated to 4.3.0.7 in Traktor 4 and I cannot save any track to my Appended Preparation List or Add as Next to Preparation List. Any ideas folks and has anyone else see this yet?

Yes, it's a known bug. You can map a shortcut key on your keyboard to make it work.

Here’s what I found:

The bug in Traktor Pro 4.3.0.7 is confirmed: the “Add to Preparation List” function (via right-click or context menu) no longer works after the update. Restarting, saving the collection, or reselecting the playlist does not fix it. Multiple users have reported this issue on the Native Instruments community forum. [community....uments.com]

Why mapping a keyboard shortcut is tricky

Normally, you could map this using Controller Manager:
1. Go to Preferences → Controller Manager.
2. Add a new Generic Keyboard device.
3. Create an Add In command for Preparation List → Add Selected Track.
4. Assign a key and set Interaction Mode to Direct.
However, in 4.3.0.7, this command is broken internally (same as the right-click bug), so mapping it won’t work until Native Instruments releases a patch.

Workaround options

Use Favorites Playlist Slots: Map a shortcut to “Append Selected Track to Playlist” and choose a specific playlist slot (e.g., slot 1 for your Preparation List). This works because the Append command still functions.
Custom MIDI/Keyboard Mapping: Instead of the broken “Preparation List” command, use the Playlist Append command and point it to your Prepared Playlist.

'Add or Remove selected track' is the name of the command that works.

TY all for your updates and comments. I am not a mapper but will try and get this as a keyboard shortcut as I need to prep for an upcoming gig. I would hate to have to find a track and drag it to a Prepared Playlist the long way.
