Please notice the difference between Updates and Upgrades !
Upgrades are if you get a higher tier of same or newer version of Komplete bundle.
Update is when you get a newer generation of the same tier of your Komplete bundle.

You write that your bundle is generation 15 of Komplete bundle so you should only upgrade to a higher tier if you find the deal to your advantage. Check out the Komplete 15 Collectors Edition compare page for content and upgrade prices.
Else then with respect to 'Updating' your bundle then since your bundle is newest generation (Komplete 15) then you should only Update when there is a new generation of bundle where so much has been added to the bundle that you find it to your advantage to Update your bundle to the new generation.
