Workaround for input gain

if I want to leave my audio levels where they in my mixer, but still control the input gain like I would so with the Utility plugin in Ableton Live to adjust the volume levels of my sounds, what plugins in Maschine would allow me to reach a similar result?

The equivalent to the Ableton Live Utility plugin for independent volume adjustment (pre-fader or before effects) on Maschine, is to use an effect that includes a simple Output Gain or Volume control.

The most common ways to achieve this, without moving the main mixer faders are:

Use the built-in EQ as a Gain Stager:

Place a native EQ plugin (like the EQ or Filter plugins) as the first insert effect on your Sound or Group. Set all EQ bands to neutral (no cuts or boosts). Use the Output or Gain control within the EQ plugin's interface to precisely adjust the level of the signal before it hits the rest of the effect chain and the mixer fader. This essentially turns the EQ into a dedicated gain-staging utility.

Use a Third-Party Gain Utility Plugin (VST):

If you have a simple gain or utility VST plugin (like iZotope's free Relay, or similar from other developers) you can load it as the first insert effect on the Sound or Group. These plugins are specifically designed for volume and phase adjustments, much like Ableton's Utility.

Adjusting Sampler Zone Gain (For Sampler Sounds):

If your sound is a sample loaded in the Sampler module, you can adjust the Zone Gain/Volume parameter within the Sampler. This gain setting affects the level before it hits the insert effects, which is useful for balancing multiple samples on the same pad or general gain staging.
