traktor 2 dj does not work with traktor kontrol 2

i have recently found an traktor device that i had forgoten i had bought (secondhand) so i had failed to ask for the seller to transfer traktor pro 2 i have installed traktor dj 2 and it has failed to link with my device and i know that it works as i have used the trail of traktor pro2 and i refuse to spend £99 on the app please can someone hel[

You will need to get the license. If you don't have contact with the previous owner, I'd suggest to reach out directly to our Registration support to see if they can transfer it to you.
