Holding any Knob on Deck A triggers phase meter (like jog wheel) -S2Mk3

S2 Mk3 with Traktor Pro 3 (both updated with latest versions)

All of the knobs on Deck A (Browse, Move, Loop) trigger the phase meter on tracks playing on either deck- when you either hold them or put your finger on top. Same effect like when you touch and hold the top of the jog wheel.

The knobs on Deck B don’t do it at all.

Can’t find a setting in Cotroller Manager. Could it be latency? By why only one deck knobs? Doesn’t make sense.

Brand new controller.

Does it still happen when you deactivate Touch (Scratch) option in Preferences→S2MK3 page?

Weirdly this seems to have worked. I don't understand what the issue is or why it affects the opposite deck. And means I can't use Scratch mode. Thanks for the heads up though - at least I can use the controller for now!

To me it's clear now. The 'touch' signal of the jogwheel also gets triggered by touching the knobs you mentioned. It's a hardware issue that needs repair.

If you want to keep the faulty unit and still have the working side able to use scratch mode, you have to block the jogwheel's touch signal by overmapping it.

Go to Preferences → Controller Manager and select the S2MK3 mapping from the device dropdown menu. Now press the low lying buttons 'Add in…' to add a command. Select the last one (Modifier #8), since it doesn't do anything on it's own. In the hardware control field of the command, select (damaged side) → jogwheel touch. Make sure the checkbox 'override' has a check mark.

This causes all jogwheel touch signals, even those from the knobs, to trigger a modifier change (that does nothing at all) instead of scratching.
