Will the issue with iCloud Private Relay ever be fixed?

Like the title says, will this ever be fixed? It's been like this for a long time now.

Whatever your views on iCloud relay might be, it remains a fact that no other product installer has an issue with it. I use installers from iZotope, Waves, Softube, Universal Audio, Plugin Alliance, HoRNet, Nimbrini, Spitfire, SSL and Slate. None have an issue with iCloud relay.

At first I was willing to let it slide, with the expectation that it might be fixed within 6 months or a year. But now it just feels like lazy development . My Patience has finally ran out! It's time apply some pressure and get it sorted because changing system settings, rebooting, installing updates then changing settings back is a real pain when you're working professionally and time is money.

It must be down to something else as well as Private Relay as I leave Private Relay enabled on both my Mac systems and Native Access downloads and installs products ok. I'm in the UK same as you, and using BT FTP internet. IP Address Location in the Private Relay settings is set to "Maintain general location". Might be it's some ISPs that have problems?

Thanks for your response! I don't know what it could be - I do web development and hosting on the side so I'm not clueless when it comes to this sort of thing, but as I'm not an NI dev I couldn't possibly say what the issue is. My Private relay is also set to "maintain general location".

Native access used to have a warning about it when you opened it, but that stopped and now it just says "download failed" every time you try to download something with private relay turned on.

I'm not using any fancy network setup or anything. My ISP is vodaphone.

There has been the odd occasion when it's worked without me switching it off so maybe it's just pot luck with whatever IP's private relay happens to be using?

Either way, it continues to be an issue for me with NI and nothing else…

Odd - I'll try it hot spotted off a phone. I suppose it might be a problem with multi-hop NAT or something?
