As I stated in my previous post
I have recently consolidated my library onto one HD and Deleted the previous drive from the "music folders" under the "file management" tab. Yet Traktor still tries to search for the absent drive on start up, where it freezes if I don't cancel the file sync. It also shows duplicates of all the consolidated tracks (one on the deleted drive and one on the new drive). If I mistakenly load the non existent file, Traktor once again freezes. When it freezes, I have to force quit the software. I have been using this software since Stanton Scratch days, and I know well. So please don't state the obvious and close my post. And if you don't know the answer or are too lazy to read my post through, once again, don't close it. As its a waste of my time to have to do this over and over.
So to recap:
- library was consolidated to one drive
- old drive was deleted form music folders in file management
- T4 still looks for old drive on start up (where it freezes)
- I must force quit or cancel drive scan on start up
- library shows files in old location and new
I have tried reinstalling T4 over the current install to try and repair it. Didn't help. I am wondering if I should delete the settings.tsi? Or maybe a registry file? I'd really like to not have to delete everything especially the "stripes", and start over. Even on a 16core cpu, it will take about a week to scan 400k+ tracks.
