YESSSS S8 MK2!!! A NEW AND IMPROVED/STYLED NATIVE BEAST!
What do you want from an S8 Mk2? Apart from dedicated Mixer FX controls, what else is the original S8 missing? Genuinely curious.
That's always my question when people ask for a new S8. My personal opinion is that they got the S8 hardware pretty much right first time around. What they could do is improve the software in the same way that some of the unofficial S8 mods have done.
I personally would not like to see another all in one.
I didn't buy an S8 when they first came out but as soon as TP4 come along with stems, I picked up a beauty in a flight case for a very reasonable price. It really is a fabulous controller for TP4 now and I love it pretty much exactly as it is.
Personnaly i did'nt like the " touch strip" and would like to see it replaced with rotary knobs :)
-Mixer FX selector buttons.
-Stems mute buttons.
-Deck Master and Flux Reverse buttons.
-Touch screens. Bugger and with abbility to tilt them.
-4 encoders per side. (Browse-Tempo-Loop-Move)
