Nothing I do will get me the Kontrol app

I have tried a dozen times to get the Kontrol app/plugin. I always says it's been added to my account, but it never shows up in Native Access. I have tried every single solution including logging in and out, deleting the appropriate xml file, everything that I can find on the internet.

Then when I talk to the chatbot, it literally goes in circles, zero progress on help.

I'm new to NI. Is this the bull**** I should expect? I spent 2 hours of my very valuable time and nothing is working for something as simple as what is supposed to be a free download.

First, does it show in your account on the NI web site? If it doesn't show there then you need to talk to support which you can usually do in the chatbot by keeping asking to talk to an agent.

If it's showing in your account check that the version of Native Access you're using is up to date which should be 3.20.1

The most important question here is, did you receive the final acknowledgement through email that your download was ready to be installed?

Assuming you're on the latest version of Native Access, once that happens you should have a notice posting in the Native Access application that you have a pending update.

If not you can also select Library and Available see it listed in that grouping. Just Select and press Install. If it's not there you have deeper problems with your transaction being completed on the NI site.

Be sure to be using latest version of Native Access for your OS and be sure to be logged into the correct account.

First see if you can download a standalone installer from this page Account downloads , if you can then download and install using that.

If you can not find the download on that page the please use this download link : Jeremy_NI, Customer Care October 21, 2024 Komplete Kontrol 3.2.1 (after installation then update in Native Access), in case of download problems then try logging in into Google first,if that doesn't help then copy the download to own Google drive before the download.

The above ought to help you circumvent the download limit.

Generally then you should be able to get the most common downloads registered to your account by adding the Komplete Start bundle it's free (click all the way though until added)

However should you have general problems getting the downloads to appear in N.A. or you have account trouble then please contact N.I. Support (all)

Thank you for your help. Overnight it finally showed up in Access, yay!
