relocation of files on new drive

Dear Native Ins. Please help- Having commissioned a new drive for sample storage with my system, made a clone and checked Native Ins. app for storage and and updates - Kontact files are automatically going into system shared folder& re-downloading, which I do not want.
Upon trying to assign files separately (within NI App) Keep getting "invalid path or directory” ? All permissions are valid, and again- this is a clone of replaced storage drive for the libraries. 500 Gig + this is very time consuming and frustrating.
Please help

Be sure that you are using latest version of Native Access for your OS

I am not a Mac user but the standard help articles are these :

ALL NI apps including NTKDaemon must have full disk access. : Howto Enable Full Disk Access on macOS

and disks must be of correct format : Notes on Network Drives and Disk Formats

This does not make sense to me, it should be under preferences.
Support is when I want to contact support, it has nothing to do with the settings of the application itself and what content I have.

Also, the GUI is probably not compiled for macOS26 because window's has static width and height.

Word wrap is not configured for long paths etc..
