How do I upgrade my old maschine 1.8 software to version 2.8?

Hi everyone, and sorry if this has been asked before.

basically I have a Maschine mk2 that I bought over 10 years ago, and just recently decided to get back to my old hobby, but I can't seem to upgrade the 1.8 software to 2.8.

I'm aware that discontinued because of the new MK3, but my MK2 controller wont be compatible with it, and all I need is to upgrade my software to 2.8 version, is there any way I can do it?

v2.18.4 (not 2.8) is the latest that I can see in Native Access here.

You should be able to download it via your NI account:

I was wondering though, if there was at any point a paid upgrade version between 1.8 and the final 2 version (2.18.4)

Wikipedia says 1.8 came out in 2012 and 2.0 the following year - but doesn't detail anything between 2.0 and 2.18.4

My downloads page goes all the way back to 2.4.6.4

Thanks for your reply, but I cant see it in the product downloads. and I did register my maschine 1.8 serial number in my Native Access, though its not even showing there.

and I realized that I only have license for the 1.8 software, so what I'm trying to do is get a license for the maschine 2 software

Well 2 isn't sold any more, so you'll have to try your luck with support. Maybe they will furnish you with a link. You probably need to enable legacy products in NA to see archived stuff.

There was an upgrade option when 2.0 was released, it wasn't a free upgrade. I bought it as I had a Maschine MK1 at the time.

To the best of my recollection: After I bought a used Maschine MK2 with included 1.x software, I had to pay for the Maschine 2.x software upgrade.
