Does anybody have a broken S8 that they are willing to sell some parts?
I need this board which takes the power and USB connections.
Or alternatively any links or suggestions welcome!

The only critical component in that board is the IC. Check the part number and search for datasheet. If it’s common then just go to a repair shop and ask if they can fix it. Every other component seems just regular electronic components.
Only IC chips could be problematic. The most these with “firmware” (specific coding).

If it is a question of the mechanical switch itself then you should be able to pick that up from a electronics parts supplier. But Google says that these people appear to sell it. Generally then you could check the mechanical components first to see if they are defective since they are the most easily fixed. (As long as that parts are common parts then there is a huge difference between if it is the electronics that is defective or if it is just the mechanical switch parts)
Else then maybe you can find parts of defective devices for parts on Ebay ?
