I’ve been stuck for over 3 hours at the buyer’s studio trying to complete a Maschine MK3 license transfer.
I generated the official Transfer ID from my NI Account. According to Native Instruments, this ID should include the base Maschine license + bundled expansions. Instead, NI’s system tagged it incorrectly as if it only contained expansions.
Result: when the buyer enters the Transfer ID, the system throws this error:
“User account does not contain the base product.”
This is absurd. The Transfer ID was supposed to cover the whole package, but because of this NI error the sale is frozen and we are wasting time and money waiting for support to manually “re-tag” the license.
In 2025, a basic process like license transfer should not depend on manual fixes. NI: please resolve this urgently. I AM FUMING
