I am trying to deselect all sections in Song View (so that Follow mode will work). It's easy to do in the software by mouse-clicking in the background of the timeline panel but I can't seem to find a way to do it from the MK3 hardware?
Any ideas?
Ok, I think I've finally worked this out. The trick is not be in Section mode but to press button 2 which changes to Clip mode. That deselects all sections.
Use the Select button (beside the pads).
When you push it, buttons 5 and 6 at the top becomes “ALL” and “NONE
Thanks, I've tried that but it doesn't seem to work for me. I'm in the Arranger with Section Mode activated. If I press Select that brings up the All and None options but it also switches the hardware screens to show the groups and pads so it only allows selecting of those items. The None button doesn't seem to do anything but it's certainly not deselecting the current Section, which is what I'm trying to do.
