Nectar 4 pitch correction when song has multiple keys

Hi,

Can't find a convincing answer to this anywhere! I have a song which modulates through four non-relative keys and I want to use pitch correction on my voice, just to tidy it up for a band demo (or they'll laugh at me :) ).

I'm using Logic 11 and just wondered how I go about this. I can't figure how to automate that setting and just wondered what other people do?

Any advice gratefully received.

if you go through to show automation in Logic (comma + A) it should allow you to create a node and then set the root scale note you want to use.

from there you can make your pitch settings.

That said i think this setting working correctly in some cases can be hit or miss so you might get better results by breaking the vocal track into 4 parts by key and have 4 instrance of nectar 4 working on each section of the varying key.

We also do offer melodyne which allows more advance pitch correction.  Please note you'll need to choose scale then click a automation note in the time line and choose the root note of the scale. Then you'll need to click on scal and choose if its a major or minor scale. For using melodyne there is some good info on how to use that as well in this video:
