VU meters not changing with fader

HI - When I alter the channel faders, the VU meter for that channel / deck does not change to reflect the fader position. The volume of the track changes, and the master VU meter on the software changes, but the meter for the track on both hardware and software stays the same. You can even pull the fader to zero the the VU meter for that deck it still the same. Tried firmware and software updates and everything i can think of

Yes, that is expected behavior. It's so you can see how loud a track is before you turn it up.

If you see a track peak (go into red) on the VU meter, you can use the trim knobs.

Thank you - I was wondering if this was the case -and thought I might have just forgotten as I have been using a few different controllers
