Massive X Player not appearing in Native Access 3.19

Massive X Player is not appearing in Native Access 2 (build 3.19) in spite of deleting the vml file (as advised here). Obviously I've added it by adding Komplete Start to Native Access. No dice. I am a Komplete 15 Collector's Edition customer. This is beginning to get on my wick!

There appear to be a misunderstanding here. If you already have Massive X then you already have the Massive X Player as a tab in the updated Massive X product. And there will not show any Massive X Player only version if you already have Massive X full version…

Trust me I've just been chatting to support and the guy I spoke to seemed as confused as me as on the one hand he said if you had Massive X the player wouldn't work and then the next minute he said it needed to be passed on to support! For what! It was as if he had doubts. I give up!

Does the player run standalone? Massive X of course needs a host

P.S. with respect to the Support advice that product not working then I think that you need at least Mac OS 13 for Massive X full or player to show up at all. If that has any relevance here.

Hey @LX World My colleague just used the wrong words I'm afraid and needed some confirmation.

I guess the confusion comes from the mention of "standalone"

We use the word standalone in NI's universe to differentiate an application from the plug-in version. There is no standalone application for Massive X, it only exists as a plugin.

So, to clear this out. If you own Massive X, you only need to update it to 1.6.0. You then get the new Massive X Player features on top. If you don't own the full version of Massive X, then you can reclaim it with Komplete Start, our free products suite.

There is still some confusion it seems, so we can probably improve communication all around. I'll give a little reminder to my colleages from support as well.

If Massive X 1.6.0 is not showing in Native Access, that's another story. Check that your operating system is supported if you're on Mac (macOS 13, 14 or 15 (latest update) and Windows 10 or 11 (64-bit, latest Service Pack), meaning your Windows system should be up to date. (Windows 10 21H2 or higher)
