Does anyone still use reaktor 5? can you help me save this preset?

I have an old techno tune -(called 'Arcama' - Kris Williams, you can find on spotify)

I cant open the file cos it uses reaktor 5 - and im now on reaktor 6

Would any of you be able to open the reaktor 5 instrument, steampipe2 .adg file, (its saved as a live instrument rack) then screenshot it for me? so i can create the settings in reaktor 6?
(i could also give you the entire ableton project if that helps open it)

I'd happily give you a tutorial on how i created the track and advanced sidechain compression techniques

For the record, an .adg file is an Ableton file, not a Reaktor file.

So, even if someone still use Reaktor 5 (and Ableton too) and save a "steampipe2.adg" it won't be the same as yours, most probably because (i assume) you "tweaked" the preset somehow.

If this is not the case (you didn't altered the preset in some way, but you used a default one), then, it is easy to simply reload Steampipe2 in Reaktor 6 and make a new .adg

Thanks yeah, I did change the preset to something unique

I get that .adg is an Ableton instrument rack - its just i can only offer the entire ableton project file - or the adg instrument rack file to open - cos i dont have the reaktor patch saved - hence why i need someone with reaktor 5 to be able to open it

Do you have a copy of R5 sunborn?

Pretty sure you are out of luck. IIRC Reaktor ensemble files are too large to store within the DAW host chunk. So Reaktor plugin doesnt include them, it just references the file path. It's up to the user to manage them for each project. If you deleted a custom ensemble, then it is gone.

It's possible I'm wrong about this.... I'm only 90% sure ;)

If you have a licence for R5, you might still be able to get it on native access... of raise a support ticket... but I don't think it will help.

(That's part of the reason for the introduction of the Racks system in R6. It uses references to Blocks instead of just storing all the structure like an ensemble does, so Racks are small enough to be included in the Daw project file)

Thanks for your input - someone messaged me, offering to try opening the adg files, we see if it works for them
