Hello, I require support.

I want to report a bug in Maschine+. In version 1.6.1.24 (Maschine version 2.18.5 R0), firmware 0.1.6.

After updating to 1.6.2.24 MIDI recieve stopped working.
My cable setup and device settings are the same as they was before setup, my other devices work as intended.
I send clock from TR-8S, it is recognized by my piano, and until last update it was working well as clock for my Maschine+.
I have double checked my cables, and mixed devices, and I see M+ just freezes from no clock.

Is there a fix coming, right now cannot use M+ with my setup :(

Is there a way to downgrade my M+ version?

Hello TurtleCalledCalmine, sorry for the issue.

I have a few questions relevant to your request, to help me determine where the issue(s) might be coming from, please answer using the numbers in your reply, for better overview :)

    1. Could you send me a photo of Settings > About?
    2. What is the CPU usage when the issue occurs?
    3. Are you using the internal sound card or an external interface?
    4. Did this just start happening after the most recent update?
    5. Are you using the original SD card?
    6. Does it happen in all projects or just one?
    7. Does the problem only appear with the transport running or not running? (when playback is running) Or does it appear in both cases? (Press PLAY and try reproduce it then press STOP and try reproduce it again)
    8. Does it seem to appear with specific instruments or all?
    9. Could you please send me a project where it is happening for you?
    10. Could you send a video showing exactly how you reproduce the issue?

Could you please try the following workarounds and let me know if they work:

    1. Reset the sound card:
Go to Settings > Audio then wiggle knob 1 (Device) to reset the sound card
    2. Backup and then format the SD card:
Save the contents of the SD card on your computer then format the SD card via the MASCHINE +:
      File > Storage > Format
    3. Reset the Maschine +:
In order to fully reset Maschine Plus, you would need to carry out the following:

    1) Press the SETTINGS button
    2) Then go to System
    3) Keep the SHIFT button pressed and press soft-button 4 for RESET

Note : resetting the device will also delete your Favourites! If they are important to you then DO NOT reset your Maschine +.

Resetting the device will remove all extra VST plugins that are not pre-installed on the unit (so for instance Raum and Phasis would be removed), all the WiFi passwords stored on the device and all the activations, but it won't touch the content on the SD card (Projects, Samples etc).

    I hope this helps☺️
