Full Disk Access to all relevant NI components is granted.
Behavior:
- NA2 shows libraries to be updated.
- Choosing a library from the update list to update.
- NA2 starts the process.
- NA2 writes to disk just before the process finishes.
- On finishing NA2 throws error „Installation failed. You may need to grant … bla bla bla”.
- The chosen library changes status to „Queued”.
- Quitting NA2.
- Restarting NA2.
After restart of NA2 it now shows the previously chosen Library perfectly installed, the update counter in the updates section deminishes by 1 (the library does not show up as broken or anything), the library shows as installed and up to date. Also a rescan does not change the library's status regarding updates.
The described behavior is for some libraries to be updated or installed. NA2 has to be restarted every time to reflect the correct installation. In the current situation the Scarbee Libs showed as to be updated and only one of them would install without.
Right now the update „downloads” Session Horns Pro - and this time it reports success. The update of Session Strings Pro in contrast showed failed.
It appears that NA2 after updating or installing some libraries on the external drive throws the failed installation error where in fact the update/installation procedure of the data finished without logical error. NA2 has to be restarted to reflect the in fact status.
