How Do I Remove the demo for The Gentleman piano from my system?
The other day I downloaded the demo version of the Gentleman piano. I decided I don't want it and want it removed completely from my system. It does not show up in Native Access. Somebody here had better have an answer or I will never buy another NI or Izotope product again. I HATE how difficult it has become getting product support here and I was considering purchasing the Sunburst Electric Guitar. If NI or Izotope wants my further business I'd better get an answer and QUICKLY!

John (same "JB" from the Studio One forums I assume?).
Gentle suggestion (if you actually want help) is to not come in hot with veiled threats and demands and especially in CAPS. 100% guarantee that will get you voted down and your thread most likely ignored.
Most everyone in here wants to help - so let's try and be measured and professional….
Now - onto the matter at hand - Here is the Grandeur on my system - same family as the Gentleman and seems pretty easy to uninstall:
You have not told us OS, or version of Native Access - but a very large percentage of instruments can be removed easily via Native Access (v3.18.0 - or higher)

OS Windows 10. Native Access version 3.18.1
I did all of your suggestions and the Gentleman is not listed. Maybe because it's a DEMO. Everything else is there. All the programs I purchased are there.
So, what's the next step?

Another question: How long is a DEMO good for? Maybe when the DEMO expires it will naturally go away? It has a rather large sample library that I don't want wasting space on my system.
Thanks

Vocalpoint-I was considering buying the Grandeur piano. I can't demo it. I'm wondering if it's as good as (or better) than the Toontrack EZ Keys 2 Session Grande.
Thanks

Hi
Sorry for my rant. I tend to fly off the handle sometimes. I just thought I could put in a support ticket because this isn't going as easy as the virtual assistant said it should. After I went out and came back in I saw the "How to Get Support" thread. I should've read that first. Please forgive me.

Need to see a screencap of what you see in Native Access. Cannot imagine a demo would act any differently than a purchased installer.

Screen capture overlapped to show 3 pages

Not seeing The Gentleman in here anywhere.
And this is not the view we need. We need Library→All view.
Home view shows nothing of value

OK. Here's the Library All menu. Not there either. I guess I couldn't buy it if I did want it. I know how to delete the sound library but I didn't know if that was a good idea without deleting the app first.
Oh, and here it is in DEMO mode in Studio One

You have other deeper issues here if that instrument is not visible at all in Native Access.
How exactly did you get and then install this instrument? If it was NOT via Native Access - that explains the initial question.
Not possible to do it any other way as far as I know.VP

I went to the instrument in the NI website and clicked the DEMO button. That downloaded a little link which I clicked on and it didn't go through the Native Access. It just installed it. That's why they need better tech support. I tried getting a live chat but it took 25 minutes and I couldn't wait any longer.
Sorry, but I seriously don't know if I want to make any more purchases from NI or Izotope if they can't provide me with a better answer that this. They may be losing a (very) long time customer.
Here's a snip of the tiny icon that I downloaded and clicked on. According to the Properties it's a Disk Image file.
Does ANYBODY have ANY answers? I'd appreciate it.

I got an email from them saying that they will look into this matter and send me an answer via email.
That's all I really wanted. I wish I could've gotten to this point hours ago. Looking forward to hearing from them in the hopefully not too distant future.
ITMT-thanks for your efforts, VP.

Fair enough. I just walked through it myself. That download appears to be a standalone ISO and it's setup will bypass Native Access initially.
However - Native Access SHOULD pick this up AFTER install - otherwise there is not way to ever activate it.
That said - give this link a read:
Fixing Software Update Installation Issues (Windows) – Native Instruments
And download the NI Uninstaller Tool referenced in the article.
If you really want to clean this up - here is what I would do - I would first manually delete ALL files located under your Native Access content directory for The Gentleman - and then run the NI Uninstall RegTool to clear out any registry entries for the Gentleman.
This should get you to the exact same place as doing an uninstall from Native Access.
If this is too intense - technically speaking - I would engage with NI Support and have them clean this for you.
